KA is a women-led movement of psychedelic assisted therapist, ceremony facilitators and earth medicine carriers, with the mission to activate the KA through the revival of ancient plant consciousness and the intelligence of our own body.

in ancient EGYPTIAN cosmology, the KA is the SPIRIT — the luminous essence that BRIDGES the HUMAN and the DIVINE. The MEDICINE we work with, combined with MUSIC and SHAMANISM, ignite this KA body.

OUR VISION

Project Ka envisions a living network of sacred healing spaces in Egypt, Canada, Costa Rica, and West Africa, offering pathways for healing, integration, ancestral reconciliation and initiations. We humbly walk this path as endless learners and practitioners. Our role is to support these traditions, never to claim or replace them. 

Our vision is to create safe, trauma-informed sanctuaries where seekers can engage with sacred plants, guided and held in collaboration with the elders, within a respectful and supportive environment. Here, medicine carriers, musicians, shamans and therapists come together to share their gifts, knowledge and wisdom.

At the core of our ethics, we are committed to being a bridge between worlds: honoring and uplifting ancestral African traditions, and guiding seekers back to the original lands of initiation. Our role is not to replace or appropriate these traditions, but to open pathways for authentic encounters with the elders and guardians of these medicine, ensuring that the transmission remains true to its roots.

JOURNEY GUIDELINES

  • Find a comfortable space and lie down.

  • Set an intention for this journey such as “to see my fears” or “to understand a pattern.”

  • Light a candle and some incense or palo Santo.

  • Call upon your Spirits.

  • Place a scarf over your eyes.

  • Let yourself be carried by the drum.

At the end of the journey, you will hear 4 sequences of 7 beats, followed by faster drumming, then again 4 sequences of 7 beats. This is the sign that it is time to return and thank the Spirits who have accompanied you.

Your intention is the tip of your arrow — trust what comes. You may experience sensitivity on different levels: through vision, hearing, or physical sensations.
